I imagined clearly a big black airport display, an oldfashionedone on which the letters used to flip mechanically while forming the destination name and the flight status. There was a peculiar chaos in the flipping letters, then the name would finally shape. There was also a specific noise that we still remember. So the idea was to put this kind of display in a gallery beginning with normally written cities and destinations in a normal world: Madrid, Beijing, Moscow, Paris, Rome…,and flights arriving on time or with some delay. After that the names flip with that specific noise and in the left column we read only ‘Future’ while in the right column only ‘Cancelled’ and one time ‘Delayed’. (G. Gospodinov)
