Time Shelter is in the International Booker Prize 2023 longlisted

Time Shelter of Bulgarian writer Georgi Gospodinov is on the longlist for the 2023 International Booker Prize.

No other Bulgarian-language book has been nominated for the International Booker Prize. Gospodinov's novel is translated by Angela Rodel.

The longlist includes 13 works selected from among 134 submissions.

The shortlist will be announced on April 18 during the London Book Fair and it will include six of the longlist entrants. The winner will be named at a London gala on May 23.
