Where We Are Not is a poetry book by Georgi Gospodinov, published in 2016. The author often says that he smuggles poetry into his novels, but the opposite is also true - we can find unwritten novels smuggled into his poems.
Marie Vrinat-Nikolov’s French translation of the collection, There Where We Are Not (Là où nous ne sommes pas), won the 2024 Prix Mallarmé étranger, the country’s highest award for poetry in translation.
